share it sunday {4/15}

Ahhh.... how has it been almost a month since I last blogged? My "blog more this year" resolution has slipped down the drain. But, I'm determined to pick it back up. Life has just been one big ball of crazy lately! That's why I let this drop... But, here's a layout to make up for it! :)

I made this layout for the "Lift the Person Above You" challenge over at the Studio Calico forums. I lifted Penny's lovely layout

Have a lovely Sunday evening!

share it sunday {2/12}

I've really been diving into the newest Studio Calico kit. The colors and patterns are so me. I love soft, girly things. ha! So, it was no doubt that I would be in love with this kit. I really can't wait to play even more with it!
I've been using Instagram pictures often lately because I love them! And, they're helping me get used to using my PSP program. I've had that for like two or three years and am just now getting around to learning how to use it!

Anywho, here's the first layout I made with this kit...

You can see more details here.

The picture is of one of my new favorite sweaters. My grandmother got it for me for Christmas and I'm obsessed with it. It's got such a great floral pattern in these really pretty colors! So glad to have scrapped a picture of it. It's great to get the little things documented, too!

Have a great Sunday!

share it sunday {1/15}

I've been tucked away in my scrap room this weekend. Considering it's a long weekend... I wanted to take the opportunity to crank out some layouts! Who knows how long it will be before I have this much time again.
So, I have a layout to share today... how appropriate, it's also Sunday which means Share it Sunday time! :)
The layout...

studio calico journaling stamp | jbs brown sugar ink | studio calico flower stamp | versamark ink | ac Zing! white | ac .03 precision pen

I used the Studio Calico County Fair kit for majority of this layout. There are a few bits of items from other kits, though. I used the studio calico 'flower' stamp because it reminded me of poinsettias and since the layout is Christmas-y... I thought it would be appropriate. :)

Thanks for taking a look!

share it sunday {1/8}

First installment of Share it Sunday in 2012. Wooo! :)

This is a layout I did back in December using Studio Calico's Brooklyn Flea kit. I already shared this in the gallery, so you may have seen it there. But, I'll share it here now, too!

The pile of gifts was for a little girl, who I never met. I just hope that she had a lovely Christmas and that she was happy when she opened the gifts!

This layout is really simple, definitely fits my style. I rarely do extremely intricate pages (unless I'm feeling crazy. ha!). But, I love it... Sure, it does have the traditional Christmas colors and all that. But, it tells a story that I want to remember. A story that makes me feel warm & fuzzy inside!

So, there you have it! Have a fabulous Sunday!

share it sunday {10/30}

How on earth is it October 30th already? I remember posting at the beginning of the month wondering how it was already October... and now it's almost November! Time sure does fly...

Well, it's time for another Share it Sunday, which I haven't been able to do in awhile. But, since I've been crafty and have the time to blog... I'm ready to share! :)

Like I said yesterday, I'm just having so much fun scrapping lately. And, I can't wait to get started on putting together my December Daily mini book. I'm going to try and keep it low-key and less pressure this year. Last year, I felt way too much pressure to get a photo every day and a story every day... I ended up not even finishing the mini! But, this year I'm hoping to finish and have something to show for it!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great Sunday!

share it sunday {4/17}

Hello everyone! I'm back for Share it Sunday! I have two layouts to share with you today! Here they are...

Daddy Time is a layout to capture my puppy having her "daddy time". We call my dad "daddy" when referring to him while talking to the puppy. It may sound funny, but she actually knows each of us by who we are.

I lifted the fabulous Lori (lstudio) for this layout. Her Rest Well layout was gorgeous!

Studio Calico Into the Woods kit | maya road pearl stickpin | emma's shoppe chipboard

I made Bow Basket for a "Scraplift the Person Above You" challenge over at the Studio Calico message boards. I got to scraplift Gillian (justg). She has an amazing gallery full of inspiration. You should definitely check her out! In the end, I decided to lift her layout He's My Lobster. I loved the misting and inking she did on that one. It was a fun layout to lift!

Tap Dance add-on | SC patterned paper | ek success binding punch
mr. huey white mist | martha stewart royal butterfly punch |
sc herringbone background stamp | jbs brown sugar ink

Thank you so much for stopping by today. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

share it sunday {4/10}

I'm back again with Share it Sunday! Three new layouts to share! I'm so excited that I'm getting a lot of scrapbooking done. Being creative definitely puts a smile on my face!

Homecoming was made following the Pencil Lines Sketch #232 . I rolled the paper strips around a pencil to get the rolled effect.

sc polka dot stamp (sold out) | jbs malted milk ink

Huh? was made for a "Mess on Your Desk" challenge over at Studio Calico. We were challenged to make a layout using what was on our desk. My desk wasn't really messy, but I had the Tap Dance kit on it... so, I made a layout with it!

In a D.C. Park was made using Pencil Lines Sketch #227. There's really nothing to explain about it... lol.

sc mr. huey sunshine mist

Well, that's all I've got for today! Enjoy your Sunday evening!

share it sunday {3/20}

Hello everyone! Back again for another Share it Sunday! I was crafting quite a bit yesterday and now I'm going to share. Take a look below!

View details here.

This page came together fairly quick. I loved the strips. And, this sketch made it super easy!

Read more about this layout here

white mr. huey | sc march '11 number stamps | stick candy ink

I really loved putting this layout together. The misting was so much fun to do. I love masking with mist! And, the sketch I used made this really simple!

I also made two cards, but for some reason I can't get them to look right in blogger. If you'd like to see them... you can click here.

Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a peek! Enjoy your Sunday!

share it sunday {3/6}

Well, I ended up missing last weekend's edition of this. But, that's okay. I'm back again! Below is a page I have yet to share.

sc: january papers | sc: february papers | past sc kits | mr pearl stick pin | ms classic butterfly punch

This page is actually pretty random. I had this picture and wanted to scrap it, but it was kind of random... so I guess the page is random, as well. If that makes sense at all... teehee. I got so much inspiration for this page from Megan Klauer's style. She has such a fun style and such unique pages. Love 'em!

Well, thanks for stopping by today! Have a fabulous Sunday! I'm actually going to tour kids around our local high school. So, that should be fun. :)

share it sunday {2/20}

Back again for another Share it Sunday! :) I'm really loving doing this! It's helping me to get motivated to actually create something every week!

So, here's the page...

jbs spice tin ink | sc doily stamps

My little furbaby gets this intense, focused look on her face when ever she hears or sees something. She'll just stop in her tracks and just stare... completely focused. It's the cutest!

I used the Studio Calico: Quilting Bee kit (March '10). This layout used up the rest of the kit. My first kit I ever "killed"! There's just a few scraps of paper left.

Thanks for popping by today! Have a fabulous rest of your Sunday!

share it sunday {2/13}

Hello, hello! I'm back for Share it Sunday. I'm so pleased to be attempting to make this a weekly thing on my blog. :) I have two pages to share today...

mr. huey white | ms monarch butterfly punch

My grandma's birthday was back in December and we went to her house to give her a cake. My mom insisted on some pictures and I decided to scrapbook about it. Used the Studio Calico Partly Sunny kit (June '10).

ms classic butterfly punch

I wanted to document my brother and I's relationship. I love this picture of the two of us (he's holding me on his back). I used the Studio Calico Napa Valley kit (November '10). And, the Sketch Inspiration 206 sketch.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a lovely Sunday!
