happy thanksgiving!

via here

Happy Thanksgiving! I hope today is filled with love, happiness, family, and don't forget turkey and pies! :) Have a great Thanksgiving!

A few things I'm thankful for today:

My family and getting to spend a few days with them.
My health.
Having a hobby I love.
My faith.
And, my little puppy. She brings happiness to my life everyday. I love her to pieces.

What are you thankful for?

december daily base {part: 3}

december daily. Well, it took me a little longer than I thought it would to get this part 3 post up. But, here it is!

*Side story: I was going to photograph these pages today and I could not find Day 28. I flew into a panic attack wondering how I could've missed putting together that page. So, I began to make a new one and then realized that it had been stuck to the back of Day 27. *sigh* That is totally me... haha.

So, without further ado here's my December Daily Base Part: 3.

Days 21-23

Days 24-26

Days 27-29

Days 30-31

I'm so glad to have the base of this project done. That means I'll be able to easily add pictures, journaling, and other tidbits throughout the month! I'm all for simplifying, especially during busy periods!
Well, that's all for today!

december daily base {Part: 2}

december daily. This project is really putting me in the Holiday Spirit. I can't help but feel excited that the holidays are right around the corner!
Here's my second batch of the December Daily base pages I have!

I am lacking the picture for days 11-13. This is due to the fact that my computer is being uncooperative and will not turn the photo the correct way! ha!

Days 14-16

Days 17-19

Day 20

*yet again, please excuse the terrible photos. I've been having lighting and shakiness issues! lol.

So, I will try to be back within the next few days to share the final batch of my base pages. And then, I will put away the December Daily posts until December 1st. Then I'll get to share the good stuff! haha. :)

december daily base {Part: One}

starbucks. I was able to get a Starbucks fix (x2) while I was in New York City! I wanted one of those Holiday cups so I ordered myself a Gingerbread Latte (note to self: you are not a coffee drinker! Do not order a coffee related drink again!). And, a few hours later I went into another Starbucks and ordered myself a Strawberry smoothie. Now, those are much more my speed. haha.

Holiday cup. Makes me so happy. :)

december daily. I have decided to attempt the December Daily this year. I tried it last year and didn't finish. But, this year I'm going in more prepared, so hopefully that will help things along! :) Here are my base pages for days 1-10. I will share the others in different posts throughout the week!

Days 1-3

Days 4-6

Days 7-9

Day 10
*please excuse the blurry photography. I have no idea why that happened...

The cute little date cards are from Creativity Prompt (you can find them here).
Everything else is stuff from my stash. And, the tiny snowflakes were punched with the Martha Stewart snowflake punch.

I think this will be a fun project to document our traditions and fun holiday things. I'm just hoping that the prep I do will help me to fully complete the album! Are you doing a December Daily (or variant of) this year?

{11.11.11}

Picture found here.

Happy Veteran's Day, everyone! Thank you to all of the men and women who have served or are still protecting us and serving our country! Words cannot express how truly grateful I am!

Oh, and how cool is it that today is 11.11.11?! It completely slipped my mind to take a picture of what I was doing at 11:11 a.m. So, I'm going to attempt to take a picture at 11:11 p.m.

*I'm going to try and pop back in within the next few days to share my December Daily base pages that I just completed. I still need to order the actual album.

say cheese.

Here to share a little layout that I completed last weekend, but just got a picture of. :)
I love the soft color combination on this one... and I "experimented" by using three different Mr. Huey colors. I'm not used to using multiple colors... I guess that's the plain & simple side of me. teehee.

mr. huey cameo | mr. huey dewey | mr. huey clay | ac aqua Zing! | sc 'you are here' arrow stamp |
fiskars star punch | sc state fair alpha | sc cream label sticker | maya road leaf pin | Versamark glue pad

I had so much fun making this layout. I kind of just rolled with whatever matched the color palette I had going. I didn't really have a vision of what I wanted (as if I ever do... haa).

Thanks for reading!

happy november.

Tiny plant branch... November 2010.

November, November. In a way I'm greeting you with open arms because you are bringing Thanksgiving and Christmas closer and closer. But, at the same time... I want to push you away because time is flying much too fast for my liking!

I feel like I should have tons of plans to fill you up with. But, unfortunately, I have no idea where you will take me. So, I will just go with the flow and see what magic you can bring for me!

Hopefully you will bring a lot of family time, rest, fun, laughs, hugs, love, and togetherness. Although, a little bit of creative time thrown in for good measure wouldn't hurt. :)

You are the month that I start all of my Christmas prep in. And, you are the month that I celebrate my thankfulness in (not that I don't celebrate that every day). You are the month that I begin to really bundle up in cozy cardigans and fluffy boots. And, you are the month that I know I most likely have the chance to see extended family in.

November, I can't wait to see what you have in store! Let's jump in!
