I just wanted to pop in and wish everyone a Happy Halloween! I got back from walking around with my friend about an hour and a half ago. I'm just ready to crawl into bed right about now. :) My Alice in Wonderland costume was a hit... and my friend was Belle. My brother went as Harry Potter. He looked so cute! I'd love to hear what you or your kids went as. Leave me a comment & share! You can even share what you did on this spooktacular holiday! I love to hear others stories.
Have a lovely night! xoxo - Kasey
P.S. Have any of you seen Scary Godmother? It's an animated movie for kids on Cartoon Network. It's one of my favorite Halloween movies. I watch it every year!
It seems like all I ever post on this blog anymore is... currents. I really love doing them, though! And they're quick and easy to post when I really have nothing else to share (or am short on time!). Which is good because y'all might think I've forgotten about this blog or died or something if I didn't post from time to time!
So, here's another currents post. I think I'm going to start doing these weekly! :)
listening: Sara Bareilles - Bottle It Up & Ingrid Michaelson - Maybe. eating: Nothing. drinking: Nothing. wearing: My workout clothes. I didn't change after practice. feeling: Tired. weather: Dark, windy. wanting: To eat something. thinking: About food and sleep. enjoying: The light next to me. It's great to be able to see in the dark. needing: To finish my powerpoint. wondering: How long it will take me to finish that powerpoint.
Thanks for stopping by and happy Sunday! Today was a holiday prep kind of day in my household! We stopped by a local market type place to buy our pumpkins. They sell them for a cheap price, too! Which is awesome. More for less! While we were picking out our pumpkins, we were informed that they sold a variety of foods in side the little house. So, we went in to investigate. We ended up leaving with some cheddar cheese, a large slice of Zucchini Nut bread, and a large slice of Pumpkin Nut bread... and, of course, four pumpkins! All of the food was made by local farmers... which is a huge plus! It's great to be able to support them. Now, onto some pictures! These are of pumpkins and some other items at the market.
I hope to be back soon with something crafty! Have a lovely evening! :)
Today has been a fairly lazy day. The only real thing I got accomplished today was putting up our outdoor Halloween decorations and a little bit of homework. Well, in the spirit of Halloween (t-minus 14 days!) I'm here to share some pictures of our outdoor decor. This post may be a little picture heavy... so be warned.
Don't you love the tape job? It was the only way to get the web up on the house like that. lol.
Mom wants us to place bets on whether or not these tombstones (they're styrofoam!) will be stolen.
I hope to be back soon with the interior Halloween decor. We need to get it up first, though! hehe.
Have a lovely Sunday night! xoxo - Kasey
P.S. - Are any of you planning on doing a December Daily this year?
listening: Club Can't Handle Me - Flo Rida (been loving that!), 2012 - Jay Sean, I Like It - Enrique Iglesias & anything Bruno Mars eating: Just finished some lovely watermelon drinking: Nothing. wearing: Lime green tank, hot pink shorts, and black flip flops (I got back from helping with cheer a couple of hours ago) feeling: Comfortable with myself for once. weather: Dark, somewhat cold. wanting: To talk to someone I think is special. needing: To take a shower and go to bed. thinking: About multiple things. enjoying: Having a smile on my face often because of sweet friends. wondering: Why are there people in the world who can really seem to get on your nerves?
Studio Calico has a new blog up! It's pretty fantastic. The new look is so fun and fresh! And, to celebrate this event they have decided to do a couple giveaways. So, if you were referred to Studio Calico by someone or you referred someone else, you can be entered to win a prize "pair" (this means that both the referrer & the referee will win the same prize!). And, SC members can "refer" other SC members! How cool is that?
Some of the awesome prizes include the Elementary collection, a spot in Amy Tan's new online class, a free one year subscription to SC, and so on! All you need to do is be told or tell someone to go the new blog and leave a post stating the referee and the referrer's name & username. Easy, right?
So get moving over there and leave a post on the new blog. Tell them Kasey (pumpkinmuffin7) or whoever sent you!
Oh, and Studio Calico is also having a sale! 20% off all of October's add-ons (that are still available). I'm not buying anything this month, but you should certainly take this opportunity! I'm sure it'll give you a push to pick up those add-ons that you held off on!
I am a scrapbooker and aspiring photographer. I love getting my craft on and I love capturing moments. I have been scrapbooking seriously for about three years. I started this blog so that I could share what I create or capture. I love what I do and I love all of the people I've met online through this hobby! I am very blessed. Thanks for stopping by my blog today and please feel free to take a look around!
