studio calico CHA-ganza layouts.

I've been playing along with the Studio Calico CHA-ganza challenges. I managed to combine all ten challenges into three layouts. Which was good because I didn't have much time this weekend and I know I won't have any time this week to work on them. So, I definitely wanted to get done in the time I had. :)

Here's my three layouts...

studio calico lunch tray mist | fiskars star punch | ms circle punch

studio calico dewey mist | ms royal butterfly punch | ac .03 precision pen

studio calico cameo mist | jbs brown sugar ink | studio calico doily stamps | studio calico number border stamp | ms royal butterfly punch | ek success large circle border punch | ms circle punch | fiskars star punch | ac .03 precision pen

I used bits from Lawn Party & Field Guide for each of these. And, then miscellaneous things from my stash (inks, stamps, mists, and punches).

Thanks for looking!

four is a fabulous number.

And, that is the number of layouts I have to share today! :) I made these a week or two ago, but just never got around to posting them. So, I figured since I have time today I might as well! All of these were completed using the Studio Calico August kit, Boardwalk.

This was just a simple layout that took practically no time at all. Just about my dog get a lick or two of icing on her birthday. :)

I made this layout for Val's August Kit Killer challenge over on the Studio Calico message boards. She posted a sketch by Liz Chidester that we were supposed to follow. Loved that sketch!

ac white zing! | sc frame circle stamp | jbs stick candy ink | fiskars star punch |
ac .03 precision pen | versamark stamp pad

Nothing really to explain about this page. I just had some fun messing around with heat embossing!

want2scrap green pearl bling

I was inspired by this pin on pinterest and this layout by Mim. The way the words on that pin were done made me think it would be something that could easily translate into misting.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek! :) Have a lovely Tuesday!

smile {the layout}.

Hey! Just popping in to share a layout that I never blogged.

I made this layout for the June Kit Killer challenge that Melissa (clickclick) hosted on the Studio Calico message boards. My goal was to kill Paper Moon, the June Studio Calico kit. Here's the layout...

I actually lifted this layout by jc.chris. I loved her original... the design was amazing!

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a lovely night!

getting sketchy & challenged.

Hello, hello! I'm back again today with a layout for the Sunday Sketch/Monday Challenge over at the Studio Calico blog. I ended up combining the two challenges because they just seemed to fit together. :)
The Sunday Sketch was based on a page by design team member Kelly Noel. And, the Monday Challenge (which is hosted by Kelly Noel) was to "mix up" your title. Here's my layout...

maya road hydrangea mist | sc continental kit | ms circle punch (punch all over punch)

This layout I made to document my brother and where he is in life right now. I felt that the July 2010 kit, Continental, matched the colors in the photo. And, I was wanting to "kill" that kit. So, I decided to use it!

And, for your viewing enjoyment... two cards! lol. Both of these were made using mainly Continental with bits of Into the Woods thrown in. :)

Anyways, that's all I've got for today! Thanks for peeking over here! Have a fabulous evening! And, I'll "see" you soon!

project 12 {january}

Hey everyone! I'm here today to share my Project 12 January layout.

Davinie hosts this little "challenge" every year (for the past two years). The challenge is to make a 'month in review' page for every month of the year. You can use the sketch she provides or you can have fun and make the page all your own! This is my first year playing along and I think this will be a great way to document my family's life without taking on something too overwhelming. :)

Here's my page...

I decided not to use the sketch because I wanted to use this lovely calendar paper. I couldn't make this sketch work with this paper. :) I'm planning on using these calendar papers for all of my Project 12 layouts. I think it will just work with it!

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look today. Have a fabulous Friday night!
