stud muffin.

I enjoyed playing along with Studio Calico for National Scrapbooking Day.
They had a lot of fun challenges to have a go at. I, amazingly, completed all of the challenges. Here's my entry layout for the Triangles Challenge hosted by Kelly Noel and Davinie Fiero

I used mostly the Studio Calico Story Hour kit for this layout. And, despite having to cut those triangle apart, I'm very happy with the end result. Such a fun challenge!

Thanks for stopping by!

card abundance.

This past weekend was a crafty whirlwind. I usually don't have much time to scrapbook or make cards, but I had an unusual amount of free time and I capitalized on it! :)
I'm only going to share the cards I finished today. The rest will come later. I have one birthday card and two Mother's Day cards to share.

I have no idea why this one is tilted at an odd angle. I'll have to figure out what I'm messing up in editing. ;)

Again, not quite sure about the weird angles! It's driving me crazy!

We had a lovely Mother's Day here. Was able to celebrate with my mom and my grandmother. And, had a delicious dinner cooked by my dad. How was your Mother's Day?

floral birthday card.

One of my best friend's birthday was this past weekend. Here's the card I whipped up for her...

I thought the floral paper fit her personality. And, it also had a few purple flowers in it... purple is her favorite color. I simply tied the twine in a bow to mimic a birthday present all tied up. The cardstock with the sentiment stamped on it is pop dotted to add a little dimension.

Thanks for looking!
