halloween decor {exterior}

Today has been a fairly lazy day. The only real thing I got accomplished today was putting up our outdoor Halloween decorations and a little bit of homework. Well, in the spirit of Halloween (t-minus 14 days!) I'm here to share some pictures of our outdoor decor. This post may be a little picture heavy... so be warned.

Don't you love the tape job? It was the only way to get the web up on the house like that. lol.

Mom wants us to place bets on whether or not these tombstones (they're styrofoam!) will be stolen.

I hope to be back soon with the interior Halloween decor. We need to get it up first, though! hehe.

studio calico {new blog!}

Studio Calico has a new blog up! It's pretty fantastic. The new look is so fun and fresh! And, to celebrate this event they have decided to do a couple giveaways. So, if you were referred to Studio Calico by someone or you referred someone else, you can be entered to win a prize "pair" (this means that both the referrer & the referee will win the same prize!). And, SC members can "refer" other SC members! How cool is that?

I absolutely cannot believe it's been a month since I last blogged. I feel so bad, too. I kept planning blog posts and meaning to actually post it, but I just never got around to it. Well, now I actually have some time to do a post. lol. It's a quick one, though! Just some currents [Tina].

Blog Header.

Hello everyone. Just popping in today to share who created my new blog header (and let me tell you... I was in need of a customized blog header. The plain one was so boring.).

Heather Prins (a very talented lady, by the way) offered to create my header. She has started in the digi world... and her talent is so inspiring! I mean... take a look at my header and her header and you can really see it! Or even look at some of her pages!

She also made me an alternate header. I will be using that one later on (once I change my background again). That one is gorgeous as well!

studio calico [3] card challenge.

Emily, over at Studio Calico has set up a little card challenge on the blog! She even has a ton of her own examples at her blog! All you have to do is make three cards, link them up on this thread by tomorrow, August 7, at 10 [P.M.] MST... and you're automatically entered to win a $5 Studio Calico gift card. Easy peasy, right?

Well, I decided to play along. I wanted cards that were simple to make because I didn't want to pour over them for hours deciding what else to add. I also wanted to use some of my Cosmo Cricket Garden Variety chipboard. And, I wanted to be able to send these cards to whoever I wanted. You can see my versions below [sorry for the bad photos... the light wasn't cooperating!].
